I'm Mike Thorn Jr. the creator of "Turf'nBurn". I play football at Fordham University and been heavily interested in football and motorsports as well. I love what the basics of the two sports are and this page is for those who can relate. Those who love the sound of deafening engines and the cracking of pads. I hope to eventually work in the NASCAR or NFL space and carry Turf'nBurn with me.

I began writing sports articles for some of my college classes at Fordham and ended up getting an internship with my hometown newspaper. I wrote my first sports column and got the inspiration to take it to another level. Other than that, theres not much history. Want to help me write the history of Turf'nBurn?

Being such a huge sports fan I wanted to include a separate category for other big time sporting events that aren't football or motorsport related. I know, I know. The name says Turf'nBurn but I simply can't help myself. These articles will be found in the "overtime" tab.
